These are the division classifications as defined by American Youth Cheerleading, that Milford Youth Cheerleading will be competing within.

Team	Age	Birthday Range
Tiny Mite	5 – 6 years old	Aug 2001 – July 2003
Mitey Mite*	7 – 9 years old	Aug 1998 – July 2001
10 and under	8 – 10 years old	Aug 1997 – July 2000
11 and under	8 – 11 years old	Aug 1996 – July 2000
12 and under	9 – 12 years old	Aug 1995 – July 1999
13 and under	11 – 13 years old	Aug 1994 – July 1997
15 and under	12 – 15 years old	Aug 1992 – July 1996
*Seven and eight year olds for invitational eligibility only.
Small team has 4 – 16 member, male and or female.
Large team has 17 – 36 members, male and or female.
Ten and under teams will compete as RED (Novice) level only.
Older teams may also compete at the BLUE (Advanced) level.
